Today was trim tab day. Making the homemade break was quick and easy, and does a very effective job of making sure the bend in the trim tab skin is even. Bending the ends was another story. The plans say to place the wood block 1/32” from the edge of the skin. Even with the double sided tape, my wood block moved upon hitting it with the flush set. Eventually, I got it all straightened out, but it was a lot of work. The 15 degree bend in the lower skin turned out to be fairly simple as well.  My rig to check the angle was a very last minute idea. :-) The rest is just deburring and dimpling and countersinking… routine at this point.
