The rudder went together very quickly.  There aren’t that many pieces.  I nearly had to make a call to Vans as I couldn’t figure out that R-1006 was made from VA-140.  Going over the plans again (actually a few times), I saw that they say to make R-1006 out of VA-140.  Moving forward, everything cleco’ed together much nicer than the vertical stabilizer.  Now time to final drill and dimple!
